"300 copies of this first publication of William Kilburn's calico patterns have been published. The letterpress text was set In Garamond by Speedspools, Edinburgh, before being printed at the Fleece Press; and the colour plates, prepared by Ian Wright Creative were printed by Northend Print, Sheffield. The book was bound at the Fine Book Bindery, Finden, Northamptonshire, in quarter cloth and patterned paper based on a William Kilburn design. This was made for the book by Sholto Drumlanrig, who also made up the sixteen patterns, printed on paper, which accompany each copy of the book"--Colophon. Accompanied by a separate booklet of 16 patterns printed full-page, made up from Kilburn's original units by Sholto Drumlanrig In slip case.
