Examines how Huichol Indians, forced from their traditional homes and occupations by modern development, have become migrant farm workers and are exposed to toxic pesticides commonly used in Mexican agriculture. Discusses the disastrous consequences to their health of this exposure and the inadequacy of the Mexican government's environmental controls.
