"The Knoedler Gallery is pleased to present this exhibition of Ocean Park paintings on paper by Richard Diebenkorn. This will be the last in a series of similar exhibitions that we started doing at the gallery in 1977. None of these works has been previously exhibited by us. Included will be a group of nine paintings on paper completed by the artist between the time of his last exhibition here in November 1991 and his death in March 1993. At the moment of choosing this exhibition, I feel the loss of my dear friend Dick more than ever.
