Summary:
Max Borges is a Barcelona theater director who leads a small and eccentric company. On the opening day of Macbeth, Shakespeare's play, Max is on the brink of collapse. Everything seems to go wrong in what should be his most sublime rise to fame: the witches are too beautiful, King Duncan's crown has been broken and his Macbeth smells suspiciously like Scotch whisky... However, As his clever assistant director, Elsa Soler, often reminds him, the show must always go on. Surprisingly, the goblin of the theater seems to have showered them with his luck and the show is an absolute success, so much so that they are invited to perform the play at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the most important in the world. The fun company sets off on an adventure in a city full of magic. It will be there where, when the curtain falls, love and friendship become the true protagonists of this story.
