Summary:
Love story of two young people afloat in the film industry in the 1950's and the heart breaking choices that they have to make. Nikhat is a young girl who goes from a fledgling extra to a starlet and eventually a great heroine. Zafar Ali Naqvi is a young rebellious writer who comes to Mumbai to work in the film industry and through whose eyes we see the triumphs and travails of a writer director. Zafar liberates Nikhat from the stranglehold of a powerful actor Prem Kumar and falls in love with her in the process. The film traces the journey of Zafar and Nikhat's volatile and turbulent relationships.
