Summary:
In an attempt to take over the country, the evil aristocrat Matsunaga kidnaps the shogun's elderly mother as well as the wife of the Shōgun's painter. He then retreats to the Golden Pavilion in Kyoto where the painter's wife plots to kill him to revenge the murder of her parents.
