"The Tollef Svennungsen Journal is a Journal kept by a Norwegian immigrant from 1844 - 1925. He came to America and stayed in Decorah, Iowa with relatives and then on to North Dakota to Homestead. Later back to Decorah, Iowa and then to Stoughton, Wisconsin. He died and is buried in Decorah, Iowa. The Journal was translated from Norwegian to English. We also added 124 letters either from or to Tollef to relatives. These were also translated. We put in a genealogy section, pictures of some of the relatives, obituaries, and other articles of interest"-- Provided by publisher.
