Summary:
Little Mo's friends came to celebrate her birthday. Little Mo was waiting anxiously for a beautiful gift from her mom and dad, but she was very disappointed when she got a box of ugly caterpillars. Although her parents tried to explain to her that these were the silkworms that could spew out silk thread, used for making clothes, Little Mo refused to listen. She ran out with sadness. Little Mo's friends wanted to cheer her up, so they took her to explore the woods. In the woods, they accidentally fell into a mysterious tree trap. They discovered a magic forest full of mulberry trees and silkworms. One naughty boy shook the silkworms off the trees. Little Mo caught them with big leaves and fed them with mulberry leaves. The boy's clothes were ripped off by the broken branches of the tree, and everyone did not know how to repair his clothes. The grown silkworms spun their threads into cloth and made him soft and comfortable clothes. Little Mo and her friends realized that these ugly silkworms had great skills that could produce masterpieces, such as beautiful silk clothes, quilts and ribbons. Little Mo found it was the best birthday gift ever.
