A documentary of the digitization of the original, handwritten manuscript of the 1857 Constitution of Iowa by staff of the Office of the Iowa Secretary of State and Iowa Library Services (the State Library) on August 13, 2014. Presenters talk about the history of the 1857 Constitution of Iowa, its continuing importance and significance to the state and reasons for wanting to create and preserve a digital image of the original manuscript. The steps of the digitization process are shown.
