Summary:

A student at Tōwa University and captain of the kendō club, Kokubu Jirō, is only interested in improving his skills as a swordsman. A new member, Mibu, admires his approach and tries to follow him, but Kokubu's pure passion for the martial arts causes friction between him and the people around him.
