Summary:
When Shannon is dumped at the altar, her single mother, Marla, suggests they take the planned honeymoon to a remote island resort together. Marla, though, has ulterior motives and wants an interview with the resort's owner, Nick Tercel, a former astronaut who was involved in a scandal and fled to the island years ago. Shannon confronts her mom when she finds out and then meets a man, who must contend with her ex-fiancee. And, to top it off, she meets her father for the first time.
