Summary:
The up-and-down and then up-again story of musician Dewey Cox. Dewey's songs would change a nation. He becomes addicted to and then kicks about every drug known to man. Despite it all, Cox grows into a national icon and eventually earns the love of a good woman, his longtime backup singer Darlene.
