Eighth-graders Stevie Thomas and Susan Carol Anderson are thrilled when they score seats in the press box to cover the first-round match of the U.S. Open. However, a hot, young tennis player, Nadia Symanova, vanishes on her walk between the locker rooms and Louis Armstrong Stadium. Stevie and Susan decide to investigate the case and get a scoop on everyone else.
