Summary:
"This 15 minute video shows the steps needed to examine the vascular system, including the proper use of equipment. With the patient in various positions, the video demonstrates how to palpate and auscultate the peripheral arteries and examine them for occlusion and insufficiency. It also presents blood pressure measurement and examination of peripheral veins, including assessment of jugular venous pressure, hepatojugular reflux, hand veins, and venous obstruction or insufficiency. The video shows expected findings in adults and identifies selected variations in pediatric and geriatric patients, as well as ways to modify techniques for these patients."--Guide.
