Summary:
Dobson, Hays, and Wenzel demonstrate and discuss problem solving, ways to educate the client about self-change techniques, and other interventions commonly applied in the middle stage of treatment. Using clips from their own therapy sessions, the experts explore techniques that help clients define problems and then decide on and execute effective solutions. Following each clip, the three discuss the context and background of the techniques and strategies used as well as variations which might be used in other contexts.
