Summary:
Set in rural Spain, the film is a story of a love triangle. The unnamed bride is due to marry a respectable groom, but her true desire lies with a mutual childhood friend, the rakish Leonardo, who is already married. On the day of the wedding, the star-crossed lovers flee, with devastating consequences.
