It can be quite challenging to wake up one day and realize that you must change things from the roof due to some circumstances, isn't it? In my story, that was the moment when I discovered that my son has type 2 diabetes. Unfamiliarity with the disease scared me a lot. However, at that point, I knew I must gather my courage and find a way to stand up to this challenge! Since you are reading this book, you or someone you love may be struggling with Diabetes. I personally experienced this with my son, who was diagnosed at the age of 12. Changing his diet to control his blood sugar was difficult, and learning how different foods affected his health took a lot of practice and mistakes. My book aims to make it easier for you to shop for and prepare healthy meals for your family by providing the essential information to understand and control Diabetes, as well as strategies for meal planning, choosing good carbs, and how to count them. Through my experience, I've also come to understand the importance of avoiding processed food. This book is my way of helping others navigate their own journey with Diabetes! Let's go!.
