This videodisc covers highlights of the Kamakura, Japan and Peking, China portions of that trip. Shown are a meeting with landscape architects Dr. Uyehara and Paul Tono, visits to the Great Daibutsu and the entrance to an ancient temple in Kamakura. In Nikko, highlights included a visit to the Great Tombs of the Shoguns, the entrance to the Nikko Temple, and cryptomeria overshadowing the Great Temple. Highlights of Peking include workers watering a street, a visit to the Forbidden CIty winter palace and a minor entrance. Includes a trip to Pei Hai, footage of the lotus in the Gulf of Tonkin, Chinese temples and Coal Hill.
