In 1980, there were no guidebooks to California design or what we now call Midcentury Modern. Isermann constructed his own timeline, object by object, from thrift stores, flea markets and swap meets, making bodies of work that included latch hook rugs paired with painting, stained glass window panels, and handsewn fabric wall hangings. By 1999, Isermann had his first computer, and so began the second twenty years of his career, with complex digitally designed patterns that found their form in commercially manufactured modules. 504 $a Includes bibliographical references (pages 283-291). 600 10 $a Isermann, Jim, $d 1955- 600 10 $a Isermann, Jim, $d 1955- $v Catalogs. 600 10 $a Isermann, Jim, $d 1955- $v Interviews. 600 17 $a Isermann, Jim, $d 1955- $2 fast $0 (OCoLC)fst00373982 650 0 $a Art, American $v Catalogs. 655 7 $a Catalogs. $2 fast $0 (OCoLC)fst01423692 700 1 $a Isermann, Jim, $d 1955- $e interviewee. $e contributor, $e interviewee. 700 1 $a Knight, Christopher, $d 1950 November 23- $e contributor. 700 1 $a Burtle, John, $e interviewer. 941 $a 2 952 $l OVUX522 $d 20231117020429.0 952 $l TCPG826 $d 20220630010238.0 956 $a http://locator.silo.lib.ia.us/search.cgi?index_0=id&term_0=BE7F4F30A5B811ECBC4A196C2DECA4DBInitiate Another SILO Locator Search
