Summary:
A tale of two Christmases: Daydreamer Jerry Farrell loves his wife and daughter, but when his irresponsible behavior causes a family breakup and he is forbidden from seeing his family for two years, he is forced to contemplate the error of his ways. The answer: A disenchanted Hollywood writer returns to his hometown to find himself. While passing time in his uncle's bar, he meets a colorful assortment of character, including a ditzy burlesque dancer and a boozy genius who claims to have written the world's greatest play.
