Summary:
Reshma and Shera love each other in the midst of a violent feudal conflict between their clans. When their families find out about their relationship, Chotu, Shera's sharp shooting kid brother carries out his father's orders to kill Reshma's father and her recently married brother. Unable to bear the grief of the widowed bride Shera kills his own father believing he actually pulled the trigger. Trying to save Shera from grief and destructive madness, Reshma marries Chotu. In the climax Shera tries to redeem his patricidal act and commits suicide. Reshma also dies rolling down a sand dune towards his dead body. A sandstorm comes to cover their bodies and the lovers are united in death.
