JAN24. Based on the true-life experiences of Dave Fishwick, Bank of Dave tells teh story of how a working class Brunley man and self-made millionaire fought to set up a community bank. When Hugh i9s assigned toe valuate Dave's business plan, he all but expects it to be a joke. As Hugh sees the good that Dave does in the community of Brunley though, Hugh starts to believe that Dave's bank could benefit the community. With the help of Dave's niece Alexandra, the three decide to fight the banking industry, which want to shut down Dave's bank at every turn.
