Summary:
After a call-girl is strangled in the boardroom of a Japanese corporation, a retired foreign liaison with expertise on Japanese culture is called in to help the special liaison officer to investigate the murder. As the two men unravel the mystery, they must face political pressure and an underground "shadow world" of futuristic technology.
