Par̕s, 1939. La joven Odile Souchet lo tiene todo: un atractivo novio oficial de polic̕a y un trabajo de ensuęo en la Biblioteca Americana de Par̕s. She knows that in difficult moments the temples of culture are in danger because the books contain forbidden words and ideas that must be destroyed. Odile cannot allow that to happen: she must save those pages, so that they can nurture the minds of whoever comes next. Together with his companions, he joins the Resistance and makes the center available to the Jews: expelled from their homes, after the books they feel safe, and Odile will defend them at all costs.
