Summary:
Theresa McDermott has chased her urban-dwelling punk-ish singer/songwriter lifestyle to the very end. She is broke, without options, and happens to have three daughters she is raising on her own. Facing eviction, she packs up what's left of her life and moves back to the rural town, childhood home and parents she ran from a decade ago. Yet from the moment Theresa drives up her old driveway, it is clear there have been some major changes. Theresa needs a job, her parents need space, and a painful family history needs closure. Old wounds, unattainable dreams and "other things" are exposed as a fractured family works to become whole and a woman with a few kids learns to become a mother. -- back cover (pkg.)
