Summary:
Smiling Madame Beudet (26 min.): A study in domestic conflicts, this portrays the life and dreams of a housewife in a small town who is married to a repulsive businessman. Seashell and the clergyman (31 min.): A clergyman, committed by his calling to celibacy but in love with a romantic beauty, is afflicted by sexual torments he is unable to resolve. Experimental techniques are used to study his state of mind.
