Summary:
Bruce Jennings, a football hero with a wonderful future, sinks into depression after a motorcycle accident causes doctors to amputate his leg. With the guidance and support of a friend and mentor (James Earl Jones) he is able to rise to the challenge. Braving impossible odds, he sets out to ride a bicycle across the entire country.
