Summary:
Sign of four: Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson attempt to protect Mary Morstan, who is threatened by an escaped murderer looking for a stolen fortune and revenge on the man who took it. Triumph of Sherlock Holmes: and Dr. Watson travel to Birlstone Castle to unravel a mysterious murder. The trail leads to a secret American society of coal miners called the Scowlers and the evil Professor Moriarty.
