Twenty-three-year-old artist Andrea Morales escaped her Catholic childhood to create a life for herself within the lesbian underground of Portland, Oregon. One drunken night she hooks up with a man and becomes pregnant. A decade later, when her daughter Lucia begins to ask questions, Andrea is forced to reconcile the past she left behind with the life she's struggled to build.
