Summary:
Documentary examining the conflicts between the coming of modernization and the traditional culture of a small Mexican village. A young boy in a remote Mexican village struggles, much to the dismay of his own family as well as the villagers themselves, to bring modern medical, health, and sanitation practices to the village when an outbreak of disease from contaminated well water threatens the lives of the children of the village. The villagers and visiting health workers are the "actors" in this real-life story.
