Summary:
Kabuliwala is the story of an Afgan man who's travelled to Bengal to sell nuts and spices and there befriends a little girl who reminds him of the daughter he left behind. He's imprisoned for killing a man who tried to cheat him and several years pass before he's released to find that the little girl has grown up and he realizes that his own daughter has probably forgotten him. In Teen bhubaner parey class differences between a handsome, but uneducated young man and the school teacher he marries threaten to destroy their relationship.
