Summary:
The Borrowers (1997): The miniature Clock family has lived with the Lenders for years...the human "beans" just don't know it. Little things keep disappearing and the "Beans" can't figure out that the Clocks are simply "borrowing household items for their own home within the walls.".
The Borrowers (2011): Arrietty Clock is a head-strong teenage Borrower whose parents, Pod and Homily, are terrified of the 'Human Beans' who live above them. Desperate for freedom and adventure, Arrietty sneaks out one night and befriends a lonely boy who lives upstairs.
