Summary:
My friend Flicka: Ken McLaughlin, a young Wyoming ranch boy, chooses a headstrong filly to raise as his own, and earns his father's respect while learning important life lessons; Thunderhead : son of Flicka: Ken tries to train Flicka's son Thunderhead to be a race horse; Green grass of Wyoming: now a wild stallion, Thunderhead steals a mare away from a ranch where she is being trained to race.
