Summary:
Daisy is involved with a married lawyer, Dan O'Mara, whom she hopes to marry whenever he decides to divorce his wife. She meets a returning veteran, Peter, whom is a decent and caring man. Daisy doesn't love him, but he offers her love and a more hopeful relationship. However, just as she marries him, Dan gets a divorce.
