Summary:
When 17-year-old David meets 15-year-old Lisa in a school for the mentally disturbed, a friendship between the two seems unlikely. Yet David, suffering from a fear of being touched, is drawn to Lisa, whose schizophrenic personality swings between that of a coquettish four-year-old and a demure, mute adolescent.
