Summary:
The most popular silent film of all time, this Civil War epic focuses on the northern Stoneman family, and the southern Cameron family before, during, and after the Civil War. Portrays life in the South during Reconstruction as rife with conflict between the defeated southern whites and the emancipated, renegade Blacks, which is resolved through the inception of the Ku Klux Klan.
