Summary:
Red fury: A heartwarming story about a boy and his horse. Lost and alone, a young Indian boy travels through the wilds of the Old West. He finds shelter with a widowed horse trainer, who names him Frankie and teaches the outcast the tricks of the trade.
Against a crooked sky: Sam Sutter is the only one left who believes that his sister is still alive after her capture by the Indians and against the wishes of his family he embarks on a search for her. He faces insurmountable odds and the dangers of the wilderness but perseverance leads him to his sister, now married to an Indian prince but condemned to die for a petty crime. Sam now must face the toughest and possibly the last battle of his life.
Seven alone: When their parents die on the way to Oregon in 1843, seven children decide to complete the 2000-mile trek through the wilderness on their own.
