Summary:
Four films based on books by Nicholas Sparks. Nights in Rodanthe: Adrienne Willis is a woman with her life in chaos. She retreats to the small coastal town in the Outer Banks where she hopes to find the tranquility she so desperately needs. She has a wayward husband who has asked to come home and a teen-aged daughter who resents her every decision. Upon arrival, a major storm is forecast and a guest named Dr. Paul Flanner arrives. Paul is the only guest at the inn, and he is facing his own crisis of conscience. With the storm closing in, the two turn to each other for comfort, and in one magical weekend, set in motion a life-changing romance that will resonate throughout the rest of their lives. The notebook: As teenagers, Allie and Noah begin a whirlwind courtship that soon blossoms into tender intimacy. The young couple is quickly separated by Allie's upper-class parents who insist that Noah isn't right for her. Several years pass, and when they meet again, their passion is rekindled, forcing Allie to choose between her soulmate and class order. Message in a bottle: While jogging along the Cape Cod shore, a thirtysomething single mother struggling to recover from a difficult divorce stumbles upon a half-buried bottle containing a touching love letter that sends her on an uncertain odyssey of self-discovery, renewal, and the possibility of new love. A walk to remember: Jamie is a preacher's daughter whose self-confidence doesn't depend on the opinions of others. Landon is skating through high school on looks and bravado. But when events thrust him into Jamie's world, he begins an unexpected journey he will never forget. The remarkable steps to a life changed involve trust, hope, goals, faith and unconditional love.
