Summary:
Breakheart Pass: John Deakin is a secret agent posing as a thief on his way to jail. Boarding a special government train in handcuffs, he begins a terrifying journey that brings him face-to-face with death. Various passengers on an 1873 train across the frozen west to Fort Humboldt turn out to have smuggling and murder in mind.
Valdez is coming: As battered and tarnished as his shield, aging Mexican-American lawman Bob Valdez (Lancaster) has learned to bend under decades of prejudice. But when a cold-hearted American gunrunner humiliates him to the limits of dignity, he pulls himself up, straps on his guns, and announces a vendetta with a terse message: "VALDEZ IS COMING."
