Summary:
"When the railroad finally comes to a frontier boomtown, so does trouble. Enterprising business woman Joan Crawford not only controls the nearby profitable gambling, she's been busy buying up enough property to make her the most powerful person in town. Arch-rival Mercedes McCambridge sets out to stop her and force her out of town. The timely arrival of Sterling Hayden as the ex-gunslinging troubadour, Johnny Guitar, temporarily thwarts McCambride's dark plans, but not even he can prevent a showdown between the two power-hungry women."--Container.
