A judge is found killed in Regina, Saskatchewan. Recently she had been attempting to assist those whom she had convicted. Was she having a change of heart, or was she going senile. Before she could be properly assessed, she was murdered. Now Joanne's friend Hilda has to make a choice between the two wills the judge left behind, one benefitting her daughter, and the other benefitting a half-way house for ex-cons. Whoever stands to lose could be the judge's murderer. Together Joanne and Hilda must determine the truth.
