Summary:
Distinto amanecer: Julieta, a cabaret dancer, and her husband, Ignacio, a disgruntled bureaucrat and frustrated writer, are thrust back into the activism of their student days when Julieta meets up with Octavio, an old boyfriend who has become a labor organizer. Octavio enlists the couple's help as he races to find the set of documents which implicate a corrupt governor in the murder of a union leader. La perla: After many unsuccessful dives off a treacherous reef, a poor fisherman finds a perfect and valuable giant pearl. The word of his discovery and new found fortune soon spreads across the countryside. How can he to keep the pearl from thieves and dishonest businessmen?
