Summary:
Set in 14th century France and based on actual events, this film centers on one woman's accusation that she was brutally assaulted by her husband Jean de Carrouges' friend, Jacques Le Gris. Now in order to prove his wife's claim and with three lives hanging in the balance, de Carrouges must fight Le Gris to the death, the victor believed to be determined by God.
