Summary:
"Pulmonary physician Orii (Kusakari Tamiyo) causes a scandal when she tries to commit suicide after being dumped by her adulterous lover, but is saved by the kindness of Egi (Yakusho Koji), a patient with severe asthma. The two of them eventually develop a relationship that goes beyond that of a doctor and patient and come to trust each other deeply, but when Egi realizes that his worsening symptoms are a sign he is not long for this world, he tells Orii that he does not want treatment that would prolong his life."--J-Pitch JFDB.
