Summary:
An inspiring tale of one of the greatest underdog stories in sports history. Based on the true story of the 1950 United States soccer team who, against all odds, beat England 1 - 0 in the city of Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Coming together to form the team just ten days before the start of the Cup, this ragtag team of recreational players represented the United States. Although no U.S. team has ever won a World Cup title, this story is about the family traditions and passions which shaped the lives of the players who made up this team and how they defeated England, the world's best team at that time.
