Summary:
Every which way but loose (1978, 114 min.): Philo Beddoe, a regular easy-going, beer-drinking truck driver and the toughest barroom brawler west of the Rockies, lives with a 165-pound orangutan named Clyde. When he finally falls in love, it's with a flighty singer who leads him on a crazy chase across the Southwest. Any which way you can (1980, 116 min.): Philo Beddoe faces his most dangerous challenge at the hands of an unbeaten bruiser from back East. There's big money at stake, and to be sure Philo shows up, gangsters kidnap his girlfriend.
