Summary:
In 1638, the Shimabara Revolt, an uprising by Christians against the brutally oppressive Shogunate government, comes to a bloody end as thousands of rioters are massacred. Shiro Amakusa, the leader of the revolt, was beheaded and his head was put on public display. He rose from the dead to avenge and amass an indestructible supernatural army of executed samurai and ninjas to lead a peasant uprising against the oppressive government again.
