Summary:
In "The shootist," a terminally ill gunfighter seeks to retire quietly but is embroiled in one last battle. In "The man who shot Liberty Valance," a man becomes a legend and an important political figure by falsely claiming he shot a ruthelss gunman (Liberty Valance).
