Summary:
Robert Kittredge is a foreign news correspondent known for inexplicably scooping the big stories. But when he misses the beat on Germany invading Russia, he heads home to his fellow reporter and fiancee Christina Hill in Washington, D.C., in hopes of saving his relationship, career and reputation. While there, he stumbles on a tip that the Axis powers are set to destroy the capital. As Kittredge digs deeper into the story, he finds himself a target, and it's up to Robert to catch the spies, save the city and keep his job.
