Summary:
Recovering alcoholic Nina Parker and her daughter return to Nina's hometown two decades after she ran away from Abbey Hills, Missouri. Animals start disappearing from the Ozark reserve where Nina works, and turning up slaughtered. And someone or something is watching Nina. Wanting her. Stalking her with a 250-year-old desire that burns like a raging wildfire.
